Hello Blog lovers!! This weeks HPOW is the Cantu Grow Strong Strengthening Hair Treatment. I purchased this hair product a few weeks ago and I must say that I love it just as much as my Cantu Leave In Conditioning Repair Creme. I love it because it's light on the hair and not heavy. It smells just as good as the leave-in repair creme. It's all about using the product in moderation. This product can be used daily at night for a deep conditioning treatment and even before and after any type of chemical treatment. I have been using it daily so I just simply took a little on my finger and emulsified it in between my fingers (if you choose to use it as a heat protectant this is what you can do to make sure it won't weigh your hair down). I have noticed the shea butter I have does not really have a smell and it melts if rubbed between the hands. I am curious about the Cantu brand. What do they use for the fragrance? I am definitely going to check into it. Thanks for another insightful post.

@Agnes I'm not sure as to what they are using for fragrance but it smells great! What kind of Shea Butter are you using? Is it the fresh (African) shea butter that you can buy at the BSS or health food store? I've never used that kind before but I am going to get some.
